Project Overview

This project focused on the full-service entrance at Thompson GMC’s local dealership in Springfield, Missouri, with a tight turnaround and no room for delays.

The entrance could only be closed for one week, so Springfield Striping & Sealing had to move quickly. The team removed the existing concrete, installed new concrete bollards, added rock, and worked through unexpected subgrade issues on site. With the weather moving in and no time to remove and replace the questionable subgrade, the crew adapted fast by installing a rebar mat and using fiber-reinforced concrete to strengthen the slab and keep the project on schedule.

The work was completed and poured back before the weather hit, helping the dealership restore access on time with a stronger, more durable finished surface.
